A clean and efficient power upgrade designed specifically for IPS displays, flash carts, and other high-draw mods. This regulator provides a stable 5V output at up to 1A, ensuring smooth and reliable performance.

  Can be installed with or without the original voltage regulator (requires minor pin trimming if keeping the original).
• Note: This regulator is not compatible with the original Game Boy screen. It is designed exclusively for IPS displays and similar 5V mods.

Installation Instructions

• Option 1: Replacing the Original Regulator
  Simply install in place of the original regulator—no additional steps needed.
• Option 2: Keeping the Original Regulator
  If you want to retain the original regulator (e.g. for LED functionality), you must cut the following pin:
  • Game Boy Pocket: Cut pin 6 of the original regulator
  • Game Boy Color: Cut pin 7 of the original regulator
